I'm so confused. I just typed Spunge into Limewire, and one of the tracks that came up (there's tons on there) was a Ghostbusters cover. i downloaded it and it isn't actually them, They have trumpets and it isn't Alex singing anyway. But the file info said that it was a bonus track on That should cover it. Not only that, but type in spunge and ghostbusters in google and there are hundreds of sites that have ghostbusters lyrics ad guitar tabs for Ghostbuster by Spunge.
Whats going on, and where did this track come from (It is really good by the way)

There are quite a few punk covers floating about that are credited to the wrong artist thanks to p2p networks. Probably the best example of this is people constantly crediting every cover under the sun to Me First and The Gimme Gimmes.
2 minutes of research has also told me that it's by a German band called Booty Busters who have since split up. It can be found on the album 'Punk Chartbusters - Volume 5'
