The promotion for this gig has been quite impressive. I keep seeing it wherever I go. Any chance of it selling out? Does that mean I will actually have to buy a ticket for a spunge gig?

good to know people are seeing the advertising oout and about. we always recommend you buy in advance :-), venue holds about 350 people.... so it should sell out. if you don't like paying loads of fees (postage etc) the cheapest place to buy is www.wegottickets.com/event/30283£11 all in. which will be cheaper than the door price! bargain - tell the true spunge fans to get on it!

to help you out with your travel arrangements here is some info.
[spunge] will be off stage before midnight. so you will be able to get the last tubes. if you are planning to make a night of it, there are plenty of night buses in the area, which will get you to trafalgar square for onward journeys or out to lots of areas of north london. licensed minicabs operate from outside the venue too.
Nearest Tube is Aldgate East (Hammersmith and city and District Lines) 5 mins walk. Nearby Buses: 25 (Ilford, Stratford/Central London) 254 (Aldgate/Holloway Rd), N253 (Tottenham Court Road, Euston, Camden, Finsbury Park, Hackney central etc) N50 (Trafalgar Square – Beckton) N15 (Romford – Paddington), 205 (Paddington, Kings Cross, Angel, Old St, Liverpool St, Mile End) 106 (Aldgate – Stoke Newington, Finsbury Park, Hackney)

Fair play to the promoter on this gig, I have never seen a spunge gig so well put on. I have got quite a few mates coming up to this one and I am looking forward to it. I managed to find 4 mates willing to travel 180 miles to Teweksbury with me last night so I dare say there should be about 10 of us going. Glad they are doing a few more London shows these days

Bill,
thanks for your support mate. we're trying to make sure you all have a great night!
its worth getting in early to see the early support acts - doors at 8. live music starts at 8.40. 5 bands + DJ WRONGTOM (famous for his work with Hard-Fi, but with a fantastic Trad SKA and reggae collection) and DJ SoniX (who will take it from SKAPUNK to two tone to drum and bass and back again for the late night revellers) and DJ SKA BEAT PETE who will keep things moving between the bands with his mix of 3rd wave 2 tone and trad ska.
definitely worth missing out on a load of ZZZZZZ's to stay out and party all night...!
