I had a feeling way back in the day when Whitmore were playing and had to pull out due to Glenn buggering his hand up, and many people returning their tickets after hearing UB were playing instead
a whole TEN people stayed to see them. Me, whoever I was with (too long ago to remember this), 2 people moshing, Jazza and a girl he was with, and 4 people slouched over the bar...

Ahh it's nothing to do with the whole fan base. It's personal reason that I'm not allowed to give out.
All UB shows I've been to have been 10-30 people. They still play amazing & the last show they did back in october they did gain alot of new friends..but despite the fanbase it was nothing to do with that whatsoever.

More than likely!
Probably has alot to do with Ben being so far up his own arse that his head is touching his own teeth! and the drummer for that matter, steve on the other hand...well he's simply an awesome bloke!
Shame coz although i didn't like ben or the drummer as people they created some damn fine music!

It has nothing to do with them falling out. They are all still good friends. Just that they wanted to call it a day.
God thats a bit harsh really saying all that about them. You know to be honest I find Ben one of the nicest blokes around...one that you can actually stop and talk to in the street even if he was famous he would still stop and talk to you....he's not really stuck up at all. John just seems shy. I have found that out, but he is also a top bloke, Steve well apart from being an old man he is possibly the nicest guy you will ever meet.
Yes ok so you know they are like one of my favortie bands ever..I'm not sticking up for them or anything but saying that about them is pretty damn harsh.
Maybe you should of actually spent time talking to them because I will tell you know, out of all the un-signed bands I know..bands that have had videos on p-rock and bands that have been in kerrang...just that small article about..they will always come out before and after the show....how many do that...how many stand and drink with you? I don't think bands do that.
So maybe you should think before you write something because that is highly false about them boys. Yes ok so you maybe me Whitmore fan and a bit dissapointed because of the band...thats the same with when Whitmore pulled out of shows and Uncle Brian were put in place..but that has nothing to do with the fact that they are ending it..it has nothing to do with the fact they have had a fall out.
Just plain and simple really, They have been going now for a long while..just give them a break! x

Not harsh really, i've seen them 3 times and all 3 times Ben and John turned their noses up and didn't wanna talk to me, steve...well i couldn't get rid of steve lol.
Everyband i've ever seen, stand and drink with the fans, and that's alot of f*cking bands, believe me!
They were tw*ts to me so obviously that's going to be my opinion.

ha well thats maybe something to do with you.
They stayed and spoke to me and my friends...Ben the first time I ever saw them live was with bowling for soup after many years of liking them before.
Ben came out and spoke. I'm not getting into an argument but..before you judge someone maybe you should give them a chance. They could of been busy..most bands are.

It's more of a chance than most people would give especially with first impressions and all that. Not that I care about Uncle Brian either way. They were surprisingly bland when I saw them so it's no great loss to me.

Cheers linz,
I did give them enough chances and the problem wasn't with me as i purposely went out of my way to do the arse licking thing of "you guys rock" and they gave me the impression that they already knew that and didn't need nor want to here it.
They did come across as being too busy, ye bands are busy but when they are stood there drinking beer and talking to every 14 year old girl they can so they have some fun after show, they can't have been that busy not to talk to a fan regardless of age or sex!
This is just my expierience on 3 occasions and just MY opinion! Could have been a bad day, but 3 bad days?

I have to admit if someone told me that they had been to a Spunge gig and found the lads unfriendly and up their own arses I would react the same way as Charlie did so you can't blame her. I also quite liked Uncle Brian, not that it has much to do with anything though.

Hey, I liked seeing Uncle Brian, they didn't talk to the crowd while the other bands were playing(but that was only down to there being no crowd), but they spoke to us while they were on stage, and they had the best banter from any band (better than LTJ's? Possibly) and they dicked around on stage, its always fun to do that shit, regardless of how old you are

tbh, I never even heard of them until you mentioned them there. And I'm finding that hard to believe, Al talks so much shit even when he isn't on stage!
